2010 Board Meeting are the second Tuesday of the month at 6pm and will be followed by a Community Forum at 7pm. The Center invites everyone to attend a board meeting and/or community forum and help shape the future of our Community!

Both meetings are held at Spirit of Hope MCC, 3801 Wyandotte, KCMO.

8/05/2010	Four Freedoms Democratic Club at 6pm Four Freedoms Democratic Club meets the 1st Thursday of the Month at 6pm. Location to be announced or call 816-881-1140.
8/06/2010	GLBT Jewish Shabbat on the first Friday of each month. The Kansas City Jewish GLBT Lecha Dodi is a community-based Jewish group (a Chavurah) serving the greater Kansas City metro and surrounding areas. We will meet on the first Friday of each month to attend Shabbat services, then regroup at a host home for lighting the Shabbat candles, prayers over wine and challah, readings, discussions, singing, celebrating and Oneg Shabbat. As we begin this wonderful journey together, The Temple, Congregation B'nai Jehudah has joyfully welcomed us to share in their Shabbat experience. Knowing that B'nai Jehudah has as one of its core values, "open hearts," we are confident this is a wonderful place in which we can pray together. All are welcome regardless of sexual orientation, religion or stream of Judaism. We'd love to have you spend a Shabbat with us and see what our little community has to offer! 8/15/2010	HOPE KC from 4-6pm HOPE is the Kansas City gathering place for the Catholic Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual and Transgendered community; providing a Safe, Supportive and Affirming Environment for Integrating Sexuality and Spirituality. We meet monthly to discuss current events and plan group activities and we welcome new members. Join us on the third Sunday of the month, from 4-6 pm at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church at 1001 E. 52nd St., Kansas City, MO. Use the rear parking lot and enter through the Chapel doorway and turn left into the Romero Room. 9/12/2010	AIDS Bicycle Challenge The 6th annual AIDS Bicycle Challenge will be held on Sunday, September 12th, featuring routes for all ages and skill levels. Registration opens at 7:00 am, the 50 mile ride begins at 7:30 am, the 35 mile ride begins at 8:30 am and the 10 mile ride begins at 9:30 am. New this year, ABC will feature a 2 mile ride perfect for beginner riders on the new Riverfront biking trail. All rides begin and end in the beautiful Richard L. Berkley Riverfront Park along the scenic Missouri River in Kansas City, Missouri.
